Looks like the X1950XTX is already for sale.

kick ass. that is lower than MSRP. they were supposed to be sellin for 449 i thought. Its always refreshing to see a card come out AT the price they said, im stunned by any that come out at less than suggested these days lol.

They upped it to 449$

I was pretty dissapointed with the single x1950 benchmarks, barely edging out a x1900xtx 🙁

Although in CF, x1950 showed excellent results, I guess the extra memory clock advantage only comes into play at the high high end resolutions with AA and AF applied.

Either way, good to see the new ATi flagship at retail.

It's been on-sale for some time here in the UK? 😕

Too bad these cards will be far too expensive to justify the performance for some time. Long live X1900!

What I'm interested in is how the new cards will effect pricing off the older models. So far I haven't seen much of a change. X1900XT 512MB is my ticket and has been going down in price for a long while, but I would still hope for a drop in price. Local lowest is now about 330 euro. I'd like it under 300.

Get Crusader in here -- someone has to poop on the parade!

Nice price on the X1950XTX; I wonder when the Crossfire version will be available?

I'm afraid it might start to go up...since they've stopped production of the 512mb xts in favor of 256mb ones that are coming out.

Scary thought. Truly, 512mb XTs are no longer made? Then I should buy now, not later. Or what say you folks?

EDIT-addition: X1950XT came to local online vendors today retailing(lowest) at 431 euro. And X1900XT, the lowest price, has gone up for 2 euro to 329. Damn, I don't like the looks of this. Alterhatives to 1900XT 512 MB around same price range?

I just broke down and bought a x1900xt from newegg after I saw the price go up a couple bucks since this morning. Its probably just the natural flucuation of prices...but this is the card I want to sit on for awhile and the fact that they aren't going to be producing them anymore has gotten me a little antsy. For my purposes, nvidia doesn't really have a valid alternative in the same price range from what I've seen.

Similar for me --- I got a lightly used X1900XTX for $400 CDN shipped about a week ago ($357 US but remember prices are often a bit higher here in Canada) to replace my aging 7800GT. What an upgrade! I went from sqeaking by at 1680X1050 in many games to cranking the AA up to 4X-6X levels with ease!

Sigh. So maybe I too should pull the trigger now.. or wait until something better occupies this same price range. But I don't feel like waiting anymore. Should be content though; During the 3 month wait I've had the monitor I'm buying has come down for 150+ euro and the X1900XT over 100.
