Looks like the price of 9800 Pros has gone up

Discounting the first 3 garbage cards, the cheapest 9800 pro on pricewatch is now $198. It was as low as $190 as of last week.

Funny how the exact opposite of what people expected seems to be happening. I doubt we'll see $150 9800 pros anytime soon; I guess its too good a card to be sold that cheap.

I think the idea is that the new gen cards have to actually be available, and a model which has a price/ performance advantage before you see dramatic price decreases.

Yes cost on the boards is going up, might be memory cost who knows, but Ive watched my employee cost 2 weeks ago at $190 go up to $210.
