Honestly, I think it's the same as loudness as the 350d. It does sound different. Holding down the shutter sounds cool in cont. mode.
It is a ton of less noise if you heard the 20d/30d.

I put in an order for an xti with kit lens for $850 at my local compusa even though they werent in store or available on website. Now I just have to wait and see if they'll honor it. They've burned me before, called me up and told me they weren't supposed to offer me a rain check on something, and that I was SOL. I hate compusa.
