summary:
A " senior intelligence analyst who resigned in March in protest at the case Australia made for going to war" says that the goverment "skewed, misrepresented, used selectively and fabricated" the intelligence used to justify its decision to send troops to Iraq. Aussie PM denies it.

It only takes two to form a conspiracy. We have three so far.

I just find it strange people from Canada and France like to talk about all the dead Americans in Iraq and "the heat" leaders are facing for going to war to bring freedom to an oppressed people, yet they like to turn a blind eye to 3600% more death in another country...you wish this would go away, but you will see the light one day, grasshopper.

Huh? No you are a proponent for censorship? Strange, when Anti-Bush threads and Anti-America threads materialize, you love to jump on the proverbial train. When someone points out the atrocities committed against the elderly in France, your vagina starts to hurt...talk about hypocrisy.

Well didn't other is ONA say that they didn't sex up the document and didn't they also say he was bitching about something else before he resigned? From what I read he was in opposition to the Iraqi war before he even reviewed the intelligence in question. IIRC from another article I read, there were allegations that he was ticked when the ONR didn't support his viewpoints. He resigned in a huff and then decided to say that ONR sexed up the dossier.

So who to believe?

That's the problem with you neo-cons, you think you have the right to overthrow everyone else's government. "It seems you would like everyone to alter their way of life to coincide with yours, to apply your standards of right and wrong to the way they want to live their lives. Who are you to tell anyone how what to buy and how to live? You have 27 credit hours at a community college and somehow you are better than everyone else?"

The rest of us aren't trying to run the world. We just want a regime change here.

To bring this back on topic, this has been in the news in Australia for months. Check the Sydney Morning Herald every once in a while, they do a pretty good job and obviously are not U.S.-centric. They had the article with the inside look at Iraqi resistance, for example. Here's the thread.
