Only people thinking "3100 is more than 2800" will buy. I'd expect prices to drop to the $110-120 range within a month.

One place already has it for $124 shipped. So after a coupel weeks I think newegg.com and/or other will have it for $119 range. Which wiuld make a GREAT starter socket 754 chip. Add that to a nForce3 250gb boartd like the epox one for $99 and you got a great cheap system.

Maybe if the 3100+ was $99 but since the A64 2800+ is so cheap I don't see a justification for a Sempron...

NewEgg's price for the A64-2800+ is $25 below THIS, so if that holds true for the pr0n-3100+ it will be ~$100. I would expect $105-$110 at least.
