That's how you deal with pirates/kidnappers. All those stupid countries that pay them ransom are just giving them money to buy more weapons, and recruit more pirates.

I was on Seal Team three for years. I'd tell people I'm a SEAL, they'd have mad respect but always like "Wait, what team?" I'd say three and then they'd kick my ass, every time, while screaming poseur. Killed my self-confidence, it's why by the end of my career my entire team were on traffic duty taking over for the MPs.

The above is not true, at least not the traffic duty part. Maybe not any of it.
