"Just in case you?ve been holding off on those Lenovo ThinkPads until you could score one all brick and mortar style, now you can; and for a considerable discount too. Lenovo has just announced that Office Depot is picking up the ThinkPad line, with the Z60t widescreen and the T43 (with a biometric fingerprint reader) going on sale Sunday, and they?re selling the laptops with a pretty sweet discount: $699 instead of their usual $1399 pricepoint. They?ll also be busting out the X and R series along with that 12-inch Tablet, the X41, but no word on pricing for those yet. This will be the first time since 1999 that you?ll be able to buy a ThinkPad in the flesh."
Dunno about that 1999 claim though. Im 100% positive i saw a T41 and an X-Series at an Office Depot early last year, if not the end of 2003.
