Hey guys, looking to get some opinions/advice on a new build for my all purpose machine.

It's time to upgrade my main rig. I usually do this every 3-4 years but it's been like 6 now so I'm past due. This system has and still does perform well for me.

What I'm currently using in a nutshell:

AMD FX 6300
Asrock 990FX Extreme9
GTX 960
8GB ram

I'm looking to put something together that will be used for medium gaming, light/medium video/picture work, and everyday surfing etc. I am NOT looking to overclock. I am NOT looking for RGB bling etc., not needed - will not be seen. I'd like this rig to perform well in 5-6 years with minor upgrades if necessary.

What I've kinda been looking at is this:

Cougar Case MX300 ATX Mid Tower
AMD RYZEN 7 3700X
ASRock X570 STEEL LEGEND
G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 3200
GeForce RTX 2060 -or- Radeon RX 5700
Seasonic FOCUS PX-750, 750W 80+ Platinum -or- EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G5, 80 Plus Gold

Still trying to look into these items. I'm new to the ssd/nvme thing but they are the future. (Probably could use some advice for the M.2/SSD)

1 gig M.2 /SSD for the OS (Win10 - home)
Small (2TB) spinner HD for everything else
Possibly still gonna need an optical drive...

Definitely open to suggestions or substitutions for the above items that may reflect better performance/value/cost. Don't need to build it tomorrow if. I get to it in a month or so, prices may just come down some. Working budget is ~$1300 US.
Thanks for looking guys!!

Sounds like a pretty decent build. The only thing that comes to mind is, I'm not exactly familiar with that case, does it have a slot for a DVD drive, not all of them do these days.

Also, you may want more/faster RAM. A kit of GSkill Sniper DDR4-3600 32GB (2x16GB) is only $134.99 right now.
