Sick job. I really need to get out of my office job. It's literally killing me. Open office environment with people crammed in like sardines, and nobody talks to each other. If you are hungry and your stomach growls, 100 people hear it loud and clear. No job has ever made me fear being hungry like my office job. Warehouse job you are on your feet, moving around, people talking. That stuff keeps you healthy.

Oh I'm a cube dweller, this is my domain:

But the company is very laid back. If you look close, you can see a rowing machine behind the forklift. There is a $1k prize if you can beat the company president on it. People go crazy on that thing, all while on the clock.
 
Beat him how? 500m time? 1500m? I was good on those back in the day and I didnt even have a prize to work for.

But, but collaboration, teamwork, and synergy!!
I've seen a lot of studies showing that open office plans are detrimental to productivity. People need their space.

I've worked in a warehouse and I certainly wouldn't want to lug boxes for 10hr days again. Though I couldn't push paper either.

I think they go for 20 minutes and whoever goes the farthest wins. I'm old, fat and I smoke so I don't play.

yeah open space is a stupid concept really, anyway why do you care if they hear your stomach growl?
I would be more disturbed about not being able to fart whenever.
