seems like a good plot, seeing as how it is based on Johnny Cash.

I don't see any benefit of paying 8 bucks to see this on the big screen, but I'll probably rent the dvd. The latest rash of commercials for it have been pretty pretentous though. "oscar written all over it! Its gonna get oscars! Oscars! Blah blah blah!" Like I give a rats ass if it gets an oscar or not.

Ugh, I don't like her either.

She looks like she did a decent job in this movie though.

It looks pretty good from the previews. Going to wait until it comes out on DVD to check it out though. Doesn't seem like one of those "sit in a theater with a bunch of people" type of movies.

It's a great movie. Ultimately- a love story. I think it's wonderfully made. I actually want to see it again. And if I wasn't short on cash, I'd go.

I watched this last night with my girlfriend...can you imagine...we've been going out since April and haven't gone to see a movie together....until now. 😛 Yeah...I'm cheap.

Anyhow, my review of the movie...I didn't think it would be that good, but it was pretty decent. Witherspoon played a great part and I normally don't like her. Cash was pretty good too...the dude kinda looked like cash with his eyes and nose...but he still has that weird thing on his lip. 😛

The only thing I didn't like about the movie was that it went into his drug addiction sorta like the movie, "Ray". They would almost be the same if Ray had been white and able to see. 😀 I just see a lot of similarities. I rate it an 8 out of 10. A 9 for the way the music makes you feel when you hear him really getting into singing. It's a cool story....especially because I grew up about 8 miles from the Carter Family Fold.
