You're right by the ocean, right? If there were 20 feet of water in the street, would that cause you any problems? Would it flood your car? Or possibly no electricity for a couple days and no restaurants open?

Me too. I live in Virginia Beach and I plan on some water getting into my house. I was going to evacuate my family but the storm has weakened enough such that I don't think it warrants fleeing. I work in Newport News at a physics lab, we are shutting it down tomorrow at 3PM so I'll be able to stay at the house with the wife and kids and watch nature for a while. Good luck dude.
