of course people have problems. Nothing is ever 100%.

People who go in for regular out patient surgery can die on the operating table due to any number of unforseen issues.

However, the chance and actual rate that bad things happen to regular surgeries such as this are very very low.

Everything, including this type of surgery, is a calculated risk.

Don't you still have to wear reading glasses? Or eventually will still have to in later years?

I went in for my 2nd checkup today, and the doctor said that 50% of the dry spots which appeared on the first checkup are gone. I was given a stronger artificial drop as well. I'm still 20/30 in both eyes, but she said that because of my original prescription, it could take a while to see my final outcome. I picked up some GenTeal PM ointment to help resolve the remaining dryness. It really does feel like the dryness is improving. Now if only I can get to the 20/20 line.... :)


I figured I keep updating my progress for those interested in the procedure for themself at a later date.

Which eyes are prevent you from seeing the 20/20 line? My right eye seem less focus than my left. I still see halo.
