a replacement i would think - methadone is highly addictive in and of itself...get alot of people on it to treat addiction that end up only being addicted to it instead/as well as the orginal addiction.

i would think this is more of a narcan type drug - perhaps to almost mitigate the adverse affects and perhaps the euphoria as well.
