I found this AMD roadmap
if this happens...
they will call the core "Thorton"
it will have 256kb L2 cache
sound like a renaming of the t-bred only with the possible addition of 400fsb
guess it will start at a 2600+ rating
if i had to guess they are doing this to offset the increased costs needed to produce the larger core barton's
bet those 1700+ and 2100+ are their best selling processors
