The latest message on the BOINC beta-tests home-page is this:
"January 7, 2004
The SETI@home 'assimilator' is now running! Results are being recorded in SETI@home's science database, and will be used to find candidate signals."

Other resent news is that BOINC is up to v2.17, while seti is at 2.18.

Trickle-support for Climaprediction.net is currently being added to BOINC.

The batch-files for porting the old seti@home user/team/profile-base to BOINC is written...

And people have been saying that Seti I is supposed to end about 1 month after BOINC gets running. So would this mean we have a timeframe for the end of the Seti I race?

No timeframe yet, but it's atleast getting closer since they're starting to use the results and not just toss them out...
