BACKGROUND
I Never been a user, and I will never be. I am very annoyed that the SETI-people calls me a user when I actually am providing them with hardware and time to run their dumb program.


SETI THOUGHTS
When signals are sent, the sender most likely looks for intelligent life. The information transmitted is therefor surely not intended to be understood or even recogniced by a stupid program like SETI@HOME. The whole project is compleatly useless, since it will only find civilizations at the same low level of knowleage as that of the Berkeley University.

And if you wonder why I have som many results, it is simply because the faulty SETI-server revards me for sending the same results over and over again.

The User of the Day thing is mostly automatically random generated except on special cases which most on here are aware of. It would be unfortunate to have to do away with the nice feature because of a few bad apples. There is simply no human resources available too "screen" for the feature everyday.
