But as I looked around the bottom of the statistics page, I think I found the culprit of the issue.

I think you missunderstood what I was trying to say or point out. I am not saying that it is slow for me, what I am trying to say is that Alexa is calling this website 51% slower than all other websites that Alexa knows about... which are a lot.

I would take Alexa stats with a grain of salt, I think those stats are based on users who have the toolbar, and not overall stats. The type of users who would have such a toolbar probably have a bunch of other spyware and viruses on their PC too and are probably running Windows XP on a Pentium 4.

A site that pretty much loads instantaneously is... 51% slower than all other instantaneous websites?
If the site is "having issues" that'd be because it is not social media and/or Reddit. Monopolies gonna monopoly.
