Bah, i had to pick the Steelers at the last second. Can't believe they were shut out. Must of rushed for neg yardage too. Big cred to Jacksonville though, great defense and run blocking/pass protection.

But you can't tell from the title if the Steelers were getting shut out, or if they were shutting out their opponent.

Maybe the Jaguars will finally start getting some credit. I swear no one will ever admit they are a good team.

I've always thought Big Ben was overrated. A good QB? Sure, but he's hardly the REASON they win. His job is simply not to lose the game, which he does.

ps - recording sports event, and then whining when someone posts the results on the internet?

Anyone watching Sportscenter? This is the worst interview I've ever seen.

I really hate these "sideline reporters". Especially Suzy Kolber.

Since I started watching the sport I don't recall a QB as over-rated as Ben nor as lucky. The guy throws end over end turkeys, won a superbowl without throwing a TD, and yet gets every excuse in the book when he doesn't get a rating over 50. The Steelers had the shortest reign in Superbowl history, and thank god. The antics of Joey Porter before their games cost me any respect I might have had for the team.

Jacksonville plays the Colts next week, which should be interesting given Jacksonville's defense looked effective against the Steelers passing. If these guys are indeed for real, they need to hold Manning and Co. to less than 20.

Steelers play the Bengals Sunday, and I honestly hope the cats score 50 on them and Carson Palmer gets some revenge.

I NEEDED a low-scoring, defensive game so I could win in 3 separate leagues, but I never expected this! Won all 3 games in the end by 1, 3, and 10 points :D

Their defense is great, no doubt. But I have to agree with Steve Young's post-game comment that their offense needs to step up if they want to be considered a "top tier" team.

big ben homosburger is one of the most overrated QBs in the sport. Gee I wonder who won the superbowl for them. It couldnt of been their D with palumaluadghahga(sp?), bettis, ward, randel el, and their O line. If you give anyone 10 min to throw the ball each play they better Fing do something. bottom line the steelers arnt the team that won the superbowl. AND THEY SHOULDNT OF EVEN GONE TO THE SUPERBOWL. THEY SHOULDA LOST TO Fen CINCINATTI! Grrrrrrrrrrrrawrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Everyone hating on Big Ben already? He just got his appendix out less than 2 weeks ago, cut him a little slack. He's won 85+% of his starts in the NFL, it's harder to do than you might think, even if the rest of the team is great. Being a management QB is not an easy task.

yet you fail to mention that the superbowl was really his only bad game of the season, and that he had one of the highest quarterback ratings over the rest of the season. Obviously hes not in the same league as Manning or Palmer, but hes sure as hell alot better than most of the other quarterbacks in the league.

He just plain sucked tonight, but I have a feeling that has alot to do with the fact that its his first real game after months of injuries and limited practice. He'll get back into his form as the season progresses.

If you are not fit to play ... stay out of the game.

Retarded to be out there two weeks after surgery. He could die again.

Charlie Batch should've been playing. Amazing people get paid to be stupid.

Very upsetting.

Probably better to lose now than later..

Give credit to Jacksonville. But the steelers D had to be telling the offense, COME ON!~!! You can only get so many stops, so many field goals. Put some F'en points on the BOARD!!!
