MS acquired lookout software recently and was offering Lookout for free from microsoft.com (if you search MS for lookout, the search link is still there). You can still download it from LookOut Software though.
Essentially, it's an app that docks into outlook and indexes the emails in your mailbox. Then end result is that you can perform much much faster searches through your email. Works with exchange. Useful if you're trying to go for a "googley" type email system with a single unified inbox.
Just a note: the software requires the .NET framework. The installer will try and fetch it if you don't have it. So if you don't want .NET, you shouldn't run this.
