There are many ways that cancer can come about. Ingesting something that promotes telomere lengthening will not eradicate that risk. It may help, but it's not a guarantee and at $40 a bottle, it seems as though just focusing on good diet and such may be a better idea that promotes overall good health and prevents cancer as well.

You're not going to be able to derive telomerase from foods. Astragaloside is pure bull. That company is just using research data and spinning it so that their product seems attractive. Genetic manipulation would be needed for a human being to produce more telomerase, and that's probably not something you would want anyway, because cancer cells are where they are the most active.

And let's not forget the T-virus (T is for Telomere  ) in Resident Evil, or the virus in "I Am Legend". You don't want to turn the whole world into zombies, do you?
