Looking to upgrade wireless on my wife's Dell 1521 Laptop

So I just go the D-Link DIR-655 router and it works great. My wife's laptop has a 802.11g internal Dell 1390 wireless card. Can I just get a 1505 wireless 802.11n (draft) card on ebay and swap it out and I'm good to go? Or is there a better internal wireless card for this laptop? I would prefer to keep it internal instead of a USB or express card that sticks out. Thanks!

As long as it's a mini-PCI express card, sure. Just open the case, unplug the antenna wires, unplug the card, pop in the new one. Just make sure you know what you're doing when you open up the laptop, it's easy to break something in a laptop since the components are very small and tight together. But it is possible, I've done it twice.
