Looking to upgrade to Conroe.. on the cheap side

Using the ASRock 775Dual-VSTA so I can keep my current AGP setup. Maybe even DDR as well.

Right now with no information really other than the fact that I know the Asrock has limited FSB(?) and Vcore options which is why I am looking at the 6400

But still, I am interested in is the maximum overclock I could expect from the combination of the ASrock motherboard and an 6300/6400.

If you want to go that way then the 6400 is probably ok. You could always keep the CPU and upgrade the board and RAM next time you do a video card upgrade and are forced into PCI-E. As far as max OC, it's going to be whatever FSB that board lets you do(is it limited to 250 or less?) times whatever the multi of that chip is.

FSB cap is 360 I believe but you won't be stable at that.
