Hello there, I want to upgrade my ram from 6 GB to 8GB and I'm unsure how I should go about the upgrade. I have 2 sticks, one is 4 GB and the other is 2 GB, so I'm assuming I would just need to buy another 4 GB and replace the 2 GB to get 8 GB. According to CPU-Z, here are the specs of the 4GB stick in my MOBO:

Type: DDR3
Module Size: 4096 MBytes
Max Bandwidth: PC3-10700 (667 MHz)
Manufacturer: Hyundai Electronics

I've read that PC3-10700 is the same as PC3-10600 and PC3-10666, so I'm assuming either one of these sticks will work? Please let me know if either of these are compatible with my current 4GB stick and MOBO, if not, will you please recommend some?

Also, here's the link to the HP motherboard I am currently using, just in case.

Thank you.

You don't have to get exactly the same speed you have now, but it does make things simpler. If you get a different speed, just make sure you put the slower stick in slot 1.

Ah, okay, thank you. So, either one of the ones I've linked to would work with the one I have now, yes?
