Question Looking to upgrade from i3-12100F

I am looking to upgrade from an I-3-12100F budget build.

Machine Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. - MS-7D43
Operating System Microsoft Windows 11 Pro (64-bit)
Memory 16 GB
Processor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-12100F
Motherboard Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. - PRO B660M-A WIFI DDR4 (MS-7D43)
Video Cards AMD Radeon RX 6600

I think the 12700K would probably be a pretty good upgrade for you.

Need to invest in better cooling too. As I presume the stock Intel cooler or OEM equivalent, is being used for the i3.

EDIT: Don't know if I'd spend that much on a CPU for a RX6600. Here in the states, the 12600KF goes for $125-$130 NIB on sale. Put the savings towards a better GPU. Should be able to recoup some of the CPU money selling the i3.
