Ok, I'm looking to upgrade cooling in my rig, but especially for my cpu (newcastle 3500+) so I can oc more. If you know of a big thread or faq for cooling, then please point me to it (I have looked, but this thing is huge) or answer a question or two.

I figure the first thing would be a better fan than the stock cpu one, but I don't know how much air the stock one pushes or how good it is, so I'm not sure what fan I need to get to upgrade it. Anyone have any idea how much air these things push? And what about the heatsink, can you improve your heatsink without going to water or spending an arm and a leg?

Also, I don't really know how important each component is--I figure the cpu fan and heatsink is probably very important, but can i improve temp significantly with better case fans as well (using stock thermaltake tsunami)?

Finally, i doubt this will come up much, but how do you cool your ram? Not worry about it, get heat sinks, or just blow a fan on it? I read on here that heat spreaders are crap.

Oh yeah, and where can i get fans that doesn't charge so much for shipping like newegg?

Ok, thanks a lot for any responses.

The stock fan isn't the greatest thing for cooling or OCing. I guess about 30cfm to 40cfm probably.
You can upgrade to an XP-120 or XP-90 with a medium panaflo quite easily and quite cheaply too.
Case fans are *very* important in getting cool air into your case and getting hot air out.
Just keep some airflow on or around the ram to keep it cool.
