Looking for information on building codes.. specifically the number of PSI a floor should withstand.

should or could? the mezzanine we built over our offices will hold 750 / sq" but that is a bit lower than the original mezzanine that is built with bigger I beams. the materials used will determine the weight specs. the 750 was just over the limit for use as storage and human occupation here in az, so id venture a guess it is pretty close.
