Looking to replace Winamp as my audio player

I like Winamp (5.35) but there are some things that irk me for a long time that have never been fixed:
-files in a playlist with weird characters (like accent marks and such) will often get skipped over during playback
-sometimes crashes on mp2 files
-often will display garbage in the the "now playing" for non-roman characters
-"desktop visualization" works but windows gives me an annoying pop up message (didn't used to happen, I think it's a Vista thing)
-maybe a couple other things I can't think of right now

I want a player that display my audio files in a windows-explorer style pane like in this picture:

I know where I put my music and don't like how typical media players display things that to me are out of whack, so this folder-style view is a must (winamp actually doesn't have this by default, I use a plug called dynamic library. I can simultaneously display the standard built in media library if I wanted, but rarely do)

I want a media player that can show the visualization on the desktop (if I choose to show it) and make the main player/components transparent like in this picture:

I also want a player that either supports winamp dsp's or has a good selection of free dsp's I can use. I've been using the "enhancer .17" for a long time, and recently have been experimenting stacking this dsp with the "simply surround" dsp. I don't care if some people think I'm hearing music the way it wasn't meant to be heard, I know what sounds good to my ears.

I just need an audio player here- don't care much about cd burning, video, sync to portable, and such since I've got other apps for those, but if these features are there I won't complain. Thanks
