From what I read about Skyrim's system requirements, this should work, for something like BF3... not so much..

I would like to play games like bf3 and cod what about this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16883229284 would that run bf3 good

This looks good but the GPU, imho, is not up for the task... I feel you should atleast go for a 6850 for BF3/MW3. One possibility is, you can get the card for ~150 @ egg and then ebay the one inside for ~50...

You can always go with a custom pc builder like http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/. You would at least be able to customize it to your needs. You could always ask any questions in this thread.

Thats what OP is linking , but OP you can actually go to their site and configure but I guess its would be more expensive...

The CPU and GPU are pretty weak, they would run Skyrim 1080p quite badly. You'll need at least 6850 + i3-2100 to run smoothly on high settings.

OP what is your budget? That's the most important bit. The ones on Newegg you listed have the H61 chipset, you should ideally get a Z68.

OP, what's your budget? I took a look at CyberPower's configurations. They charge way too much for memory, and for most GPUs; though they have a sale on 6850s right now.

If you're looking on Newegg in the $600 range, and are willing to put in a video card yourself, this is a pretty good combo:

- iBUYPOWER Gamer Power 913i Desktop PC Intel Core i3 2120 $400
- SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100315VXL Radeon HD 6850 1GB ~$153 with shipping - darn thing takes two 6-pin connectors. I thought no 6850 did that!
- HIS IceQ X Turbo H685QNT1GD Radeon HD 6850 ~$157 with shipping

You can do better with certain refurbished Dells, but not all have a PSU capable of running a GPU like this. I've lost track of the thread where one was mentioned. :(

Also consider what future games you may want to play. Like others here I'd suggest nothing less than a 6850 or a GTX460 GPU as minimum. Personally, I'd take the 6850 over the GTX460. For CPU I'd say a minimum of a i5 2400. However if your budget is tight and you are forced to get a i3 2100 now at least get a mobo that can be upgraded to IB down the road. Then in a year or so you can replace the cpu for something better. I would give the same advice if going the i5 2400 route as well. Also make sure the power supply will handle future upgrades as well. 8Gb RAM is nice so if you can get it great but 4Gb will be perfectly fine for gaming so don't sweat it if you need to drop down to 4Gb RAM to save a few dollars.

Budget rigs are nice but you have to be careful you don't box yourself into a situation where you cannot upgrade things. Especially the GPU. If buying a built PC choose a company that has a custom configurator so you can choose the individual parts you want. Many online companies offer this feature.

Round 650

$650 is simply not enough money to play BF3 at 1080P and high settings. Not that there is anything inherently wrong with turning down the details, just don't want you to be disappointed.

Look "OK", but you can do better in a few places:

i3 2100 $110
GA-H61M-DS2 $55
DDR3 1333 8GB $28

Many games will benefit from a faster dual-core rather than a slower quad.
