So I have been thinknig of doing an overhaul on my box to get me up to date this sexy new wave of technology. By overhauld I mean mobo, cpu, and vid card. What would be a good, or fair asking price for the whole shi-bang. I currently have a gigabyte k8u mobo with a socket 754 athlon64 3200+, 2gb of corsair value select ram, and a BFG geforce 6800gs agp vid card with an arctic-cooling silencer slapped on her. I'm not really sure on the resale value on any of this. And I'm looking to put it up for sale as one block. If I can get a bit more doughy dough I'd do separate, but it's easier to get it all out in one block. So any of you that know resale values tell a nerd in training please, I still feel so new :D.

(oh yeah, thanks to all of you that have helped, and given advise recently, these forums are pretty swell)

cross check current retail prices with the going price on ebay and the at for sale trade that iRONic linked about. That should give you an idea of what to ask for. If you are going to sell on the forums, remember that people here are looking for deals and your prices should satiate that fact. good luck.

Yeah, that's why I posted here. I'm not sure exactly where I'm gonna sell these things, i was just looking to see if anybody knew any resale values. I'll just go check ebay, and other places. Oh yeah, I'll probably be posting some good freebies in the forums, so be on the lookout ;)
