So I was looking on newegg for an x1900 crossfire edition and there is almost a $100 difference between the most expensive and least expensive. From the specs, they look like EXACTLY the same cards... no OCing or anything. Am I missing something here? I just want to know why such a huge difference. Thanks in advance.

By the way, ignore my sig for this one, this is for another rig.

Asus often charges more than other brands because of their name, while Akbar & Jeff's Video Kard Hutt accepts smaller margins to make the sale.

Other differences include VIVO and bundled software.

Some could also be a newer batch / model of card. Newegg marks up whatever the manufacturer / distributor charges them, so a newer card / model can cost them less (and so cost you less) than an older one sitting in their inventory.

from what i've heard, sapphire and powercolor make the best ATI cards; i just bought an X1800XT from sapphire but it wont be here till monday so i cant really speak from personal experience yet. Those two companies are also generally towards the lower end as far as pricing is concerned.

Go nVidia SLI if you want dual video cards. And only go SLI if you have enough money to purchase one of the top video cards and you still have money left over.
