Ketchup - Right now I'm running at 255x10, with a 266 divider with the lowest timings and it's pretty stable. I'll try to up the fsb later today when I have more time.

myocardia - What you said got me optimistic so I tried the 400 1:1 divider with the loosest timings I could do (3-7-7-15) and I got the BSOD right after the Windows Loading screen appeared. I dropped the divider back down to 333 with the same timings, and while Windows booted, it was not very stable at all. I could not run any significant programs to try to get a quick bench in.

As far as gaming goes, I guess I am a gamer at heart. But one of the reasons I'm OCing is that I'm in this limbo period between graduation and a real job where I don't have too much to do but mess around on the computer. Haha, I also need a new good DVD player for the same amount of cash as a new card. But I've got a pretty decent cooler on the x800, so I've OCed that up to 425/550 with no real heat issues.

I just wanted to chime in and second myocardia on the video card. Right now you can pick up an EVGA 7900gs from newegg for $105 after $20 rebate. That would get you "back in the game" as you processor really isn't holding your system back (much).

Thanks for the advice on the video card. I think I'm going to hold back on an upgrade until I get a real job which should be within the next two months. That way, I can advance a couple of slots on THW's chart. http://www.tomshardware.com/20...r_the_money/page7.html - They recommend going up at least 3 levels to get the most bang for your buck.

Something else that caught my attention ocurred with WinRAR. While unzipping a couple of old divx movies I had on CD, I noticed almost all of them were reporting CRC errors claiming the file was corrupt. I've unRARed these same files before on the same discs with no problems, so I'm convinced it must be a hardware issue. My temps are still pretty cool, but even so I backed down to a 245x FSB and slightly slower RAM timings. I also knocked back the voltage on both a step or two. WHat else could be causing this problem?

Your problem is either overclocking in general or the ram. I would knock the fsb down a little more but keep your voltages up. (esp. on the memory). Higher voltages won't cause you problems unless the cpu is overheating, and it doesn't sound like the problem is overheating on your system.
