Im going off to college in a few months and i want to take a nice keyboard because i don't really like typing on this current one. i think this is something i want to go balls out on and get something really nice and comfortable. i would like to get it at best buy because i just got a $50 gift card and figured i would use it toward this, but it doesn't have to be limited to best buy or $50. I want the best for this situation.

I have been out of the loop for a little while so i am still looking around to see what kind of stuff if you. Do you suggest the G15? or maybe something like the saltek elispe 2? Please let me know you experiences and suggestions. Thanks.

Well i went over the best buy (hate that place) and i really liked the feel of the MX3200 wireless keyboard/mouse combo. I dont need the mouse but oh well it cant hurt. Does anyone have any experiences with this setup?

G15 is nice but the LCD screen is pretty useless except for the clock and performance monitor. The keys are matte finished so they don't gunk up very easily. You get 3 sets of 18 macro keys (macro set buttons on the top left of keyboard) that you can program to do miscellaneous junk.

I love my G15. I use the keys for everything except gaming. But they are extremely useful for repetitive tasks.

Das keyboard is the best, but expensive.
Second best option is an IBM Model M.

I am planing on getting the MX3200 myself most reviews I have seen are positive and it feels right to me. I would prefer if it was a little smaller overall but for me reliability is important. PS If you game a lot there are some issues with multiple key inputs (not an issue for me)check out the logitech forums for details.

Hahaha, you sound like my ex-wife. She told me "black hurts my eyes."

I tried googling the concept. I got hits on Russian wives. WTF?

Oh, and I divorced her because she's bat-sh*t crazy with her ideas. Hmmm...
