Looking for a comfortable chair at a reasonable price. I like to game so sit at my system(s) a lot hehe.. my current chair.. is.. well it goes up/down by itself.. the back rest is busted.. and the seat is sitting at an angle now.. so is a bit uncomfortable!

Looking at:

and

Thank you for your opinions =) Sorry if this is the wrong forum.. Didn't know where else to put this and I consider the chair to be one of the most vital pieces of hardware!

I suggest going to Staples, Best Buy, CompUSA, OfficeMax, maybe Costco or BJ's or Sam's Club if you have a membership or know somebody who does, local places, so that you can actually get a feel for some of them, see which ones have the adjustments you like and that can actually be adjusted to fit you.

And I sure as hell wouldn't buy a chair that "comares [sic] to the Herman Miller Aeron" but doesn't even have a brand name..

I prefer Office Depot over Staples myself. The OD nearest me has a much wider selection on their floor than the nearest Staples and you can go in and try them out. I try out a chair before buying it. Just how I am. Staples seems limited in choices compared to OD. BestBuy doesnt have much of a selection really IMO.

I have an executive chair from OfficeDepot....best chair ever. I've even fell asleep in it a couple of times.

If you have a Cort Furniture store in your area, you can get great deals on used executive chairs that are like new (same with other office furniture, too).

I do agree with the other suggestions that your best bet is to pick out the chair in person so that you know it will be comfortable.

Thanks for all the responses.. =) My problem is.. I think *all* new chairs are uncomfortable.. I sat in about 12 of them at staples and was like.. bleargh this isn't going to work until it's broken in.

staples sells lane. so does costco, but their pricing is basically the same. the exec type leather chair will cost about 168-199 depending on materal. the 169 one i saw was microfiber grey, sorta fake suede, the one closer to 200 is leather. certainly better than those 40 dollar ones always on sale, those just dont last. the lane ones are rather hefty, nice and solid. stay away from best buy

Yeah stopped by staples earlier today.. the lane's felt pretty good.. the best buy that's right by it sucks and doesn't even carry chairs!

I got mine for $60 on clearance..lol...but i'm sure you're prob looking for the extra cushy ones. Mines is kind of a basic exec chair..but still supports me pretty good.
