I currently have a Corsair 800D and while I really like it, it's just to big for me to keep moving around. I like a lot of the features of the 800D, I bought it because I wanted lots of space to work and it offered plenty of drive bays. I don't do any water cooling or use any big video cards. I like how streamlined the design is, i'm not a huge fan of case lighting, I just want something sturdy and with a clean design.

I'm not too familiar with whats out there for case designs and which manufacturers are making quality products.

What I would like in a case, at least 6 3.5" drive bays and if possible 3 - 4 5.25" drive bays (1 for a DVD drive and the rest for hard drive caddies. I guess I could get by with less 5.25" drive bays if it meant more 3.5" bays). A good cable management setup and quiet, although it doesn't have to be too quiet since it isn't located in my bedroom anymore. I've never been a big fan of cases with front doors, although I would be willing to look into it if it was the right case.

Thanks in advance for your recommendations

LianLi, Fractal Design are two companies that come to mind. Check out their products.

If you still like the look of your 800d then maybe wait for Corsair's 200D to release? ;)

Thanks for the insight, the 200D looks solid as does the Define R4. I'll have to do a bit of reading on these. Thanks

That's a 200R? It was introduced months ago...not a bad case but there's only room for 4 hdd's. Easiest downsize is 650D, basically midtower version of 800D.

Fractal Design R3/R4 are quite nice too, but do have a door. Lian Li PC-9F is good too, but no room for radiator in the top, in case you want that too. The aluminium really helps when carrying the case around though.
