I am trying to do better than my 9800gt without costing a small fortune, I want to stay under 150.00 if possible. I had done some looking arouind and found an HD4830 that seemed to be a bit better than my 9800gt, for 60 bucks, and it had hdmi as well, but it aint cuttin the mustard. my 9800gt seriously runs a lot better than this HD4830.

I am looking for a few suggestions from the crowd here who have much more expeirience with up to date video than I do.

I need it to be PCI-E 16X 2.0 with at least 512mb of ram, 256Bit and an HDMI Port and DVI port.

My system right now is an Asrock G41M-S with an E5200 wolfdale P4, 4GB OCZ DDR 2,
OCZ 500Watt modular PSU, 500GB SATA II WD Green HD.

In a day or 2 my E8400 will be here so I will have much more CPU power then.

thanks!

Edit: the card I have right now is this one...

also..how important is the bit rate? is there that much difference between 128 bit and 256 bit?

GTX460 or HD6850

They are about even with the HD6850 winning here or there and the GTX460 winning some here and some there.

I would suggest the HD6850, since it is more power efficient. But it goes for around $170 after rebate, leaving you with the GTX460 as the clear choice.
