Looking to combine wired and wireless router

Ok there are no exact how to's to set up a router then hooking up a wireless router.

See I had a wire less router and a switch a gigibyte switch.

I switched it over to a gigabyte router only problem is its not also wireless.

So to get the benefit of the wireless I know I can take one router and hook it up to the other but when I try to do that I get no wireless signal.

So how is it you take a wired gigabyte router (with all devices hooked up to it and add a wireless router to it.
I tried to enter into the configureation menu of the wireless router but it wouldnt allow me to. I could only access the thew gigabyte router.

I had it hooked up like this

Cable modem to Gigabyte router

Gigabyte router to
1. My pc
2. My server
3. Playstation 3
4. Wireless router.

Then I took one output from the wireless router and hooked it into a medida server.

1 2 and 3 all worked great number 4 and then device hooked up to it didnt' work

word. keep switching on a switch (cheap rosewill) , routing on a router, and wifi separate and things will be much more solid. esp if you use DD-WRT which leaks like a sieve
