Looking to buy an mp3 player - Cowon S9?

So, I have an iPhone 3GS, which is all well and nice, but I would like something as a dedicated media player with long battery life, as my Creative Zen Vision:M is slowly dying. I've eyeballing the Cowon S9, but it seems like that player has been out a while. Is there anything better out lately (or anything announced at CES 2010?)

It hasn't really been out that long. I have a Cowon D2 which is even older and I still think it surpasses many of the popular mp3 players these days. I think Cowon makes fantastic mp3 players with the longest battery life of any flash players out there, and great sound quality. The reason I got the D2 though was for the SD slot which gives me a lot of extra space. The s9 doesn't have that, but that may not be an issue for you.

The S9 came out with a 32gb a little while ago though, so that makes things a bit easier there. For a while, the biggest was 16gb

The Zune HD is also a pretty nice player too.

I have a D2, the 60 hour battery is crazy. I use it mostly for long road trips. I drove home for Thanksgiving and Xmas and didn't have to worry a bit about battery (6 hours each way).
