I'm looking to buy an A3+ printer and i want to spend around £200-300 (USD$315-470 to you lot!) nearer £200 if poss. and i'm thinking about the EPSON Stylus 1290S, or its HP equivalent. Again as close to the £200 as you can manage! Can anyone reccommend any HP A3/A3+ printers? i Dont really know the range

thanks

Get a Canon. Non-separate color ink tanks will cost you an arm and a leg on large format printers.

i6500 and i9100 for 4- and 6-color printing; and W2200 for professional (read: higher volume) six-color printing. All of them are A3+, have each ink in a separate tank, have HARDWARE ink level detection (and transparent tanks anyhow), and can do zero-margin prints even on the largest paper.

You might also want to look for bargains on the older S series wide format printers. Look for four-digit model numbers, these are the wide ones (like S8200).
