Looking to buy a Video card under $ 200 - Help

im looking to buy a good video card for under $ 200 - have been interested in the ATI 9500 Pro at new egg for like $ 177 ? so should i go for it or is there a better card out there ???

First thing that popped into my mind was the R9500.

Excellent card for the money, and some soft-mod to R9700.

Go for it.

Just bought my 9500pro from newegg, excellent shipping, price, and awesome card. If you have the extra cash you might wanna consider the 9700np.

im getting the one made by ATI for $ 188 and the one on newegg is by Sapphire and thats for $ 177 ?? so which one should i go for ?? any difference

Sapphire may be the OEM, lower-clocked version. Not terribly severe difference, but lower clocks. I'd go for the retail ATI one and get the ATI warranty coverage.
