I'm looking to buy a new PSU for less than $125 for the following setup. My old generic 700W PSU from Cyberpower is randomly shutting off on me. You can read about that here: http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2243104

RAM: 8GB (4x2GB) DDR3 1333
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955(3.2GHz) not overclocked
CPU Cooler: ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler
GPU: AMD 6950 1GB (factory OC'd by XFX)
HDD - 2 x 1TB HDD
MB: Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P (Rev 1.0)
Case: NZXT Beta

I've also got a USB Keyboard, USB Mouse, analog headphones, and I will sometimes charge my iphone on my PC.

I've been recommended:

Antec EarthWatts 650 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371044

XFX Core Edition PRO650W - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817207014

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-650TX - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139005

SeaSonic M12II 650 SS-650AM - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817151106

What's the consensus on which brand is the most stable and reliable?

I'm also open to other options as long as they are under $125 before shipping, and stable and reliable.

XFX Core, Corsair TX and Seasonic are all made by Seasonic. Core and TX are internally identical, M12II is a bit different because it's modular. They're all just as reliable and stable. Antec Earthwatts is made by Delta, but I'd say it is on par with the other three. It is cheaper because you get a shorter warranty, ugly looks and no power cord.

You shouldn't get the M12II 650W though, it's $35 more expensive than the M12II 620W. Not because it's really any better, it's just newer. M12II 620W was the same price on release.

All four companies have decent customer support, although I've heard the best comments about Seasonic and Corsair.

Just wanted to record for posterity that I went with the XFX Core Edition PRO650W - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817207014

I ran the GPU and CPU at close to 100% for over and hour and it didn't have a single problem, so the PSU was the issue after all.

Hopefully the PSU will carry over to a new system which I'll put together after I get taxes back next year!

The Antec Earthwatts is on sale for $50 right now so...thats the cheapest one for sure... if that makes any difference.
