looking to buy a PDA

hi all,

i'm looking to buy a PDA or a cell phone with PDA functions and/or computer connectivity (USB or Bluetooth or whatever). i know the latter costs big bucks, so a cell-phone with simple organizer functions would work too.

my friend is offering to sell me his old Compaq iPaq 3650 for $120 with a PCMCIA adapter included.

my budget is around that same price - $150'ish if possible, 200 at the very most. what;s a good PDA available for this price-range?

am i better off buying the old iPaq from my friend or investing in another model?

thanks

I definitely like the iPaq. Very well built, comes with some good software, and pretty expandable.

That said, I bought a cheap HP Jornada 547 and it handles everything I need it for.. calendar, reminders, phone book, checkbook register, etc.

Everyone in my office have Dell pdas. Check out the Dell Axim X3 series with built-in wireless.

It may be a little more expensive, but at least you won't have to worry about wireless-card compatibility issues that everyone seems to have these days.
