Try an IBM A21m or something in the T-Series. The T-Series would probably fall into your price range a little better. The A21e, Model Number 2628JCU, should fit just about perfectly. It's a Celeron, but it is a 700, it has a 15" 1024x768 screen, a 20GB HDD, and a 24x CD-ROM. Configured with 128MB RAM and an internal NIC it comes in at $2,189 American. Link to Configuration Page. -- Link to A21e 2628JCU Home Page.

Zenmervolt loves his IBMs and so do I. The T-series is very, very nice. IBM has outstanding support. So do a lot of other companies. The difference is that in 5 years, IBM will still be supporting your machine with updated drivers and readily available spare parts. Plus the IBM's are built like brick sh!thouses, and look really cool, too.
