From B3D, Dave was able to OC the core to 537MHz on stock cooling. There are rumors that Memory chip used is the same as 9700Pro, suggesting that OCing Memory is also possible.

So, before you spend your hard earned money, wait a few days and see how this all plays out, I am willing to be you'd be happier that you have waited.

I know there is already a thread on 9600Pro review, but this warrants a new thread. 😀

 
On stock cooling, stock voltage...not bad at all, wow. Looks like going with TSMC wasn't such a risk after all. Well whatever trouble they had with the prior stepping looks to be behind them. Nice.
