Hey guys. I'm looking to buy a gaming laptop that will get 100+ frames in CS:S and in other performance demanding games. I was looking at Alienware's but that seems like some what of a rip off. I would love to buy something off of newegg, but am unsure if newegg even has something I'm looking for in gaming. Any ideas or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.

Oh yeah, I'm not quite clear on what laptop gpx cards are good and what arent. I would love to build my own as well but I've had a very tough time finding websites for laptop parts. Any suggestions in this area would also be much appreciated. Thanks again.

The Asus G1S is a very good gaming notebook. It is kind of flashy (lights and such) but since you are looking at Alienwares I guess you would like it.

Are you going to use Vista 64bit? 4GB can only be fully utilized with 64bit, 3GB would be a better choice for 32bit

Check out dells new inspiron/vostro line, they can be configured with an 8600GT 256 GDDR2, which is no slouch. Decent price too.
