Looking to buy a few Dual Socket A's and looking for Opinions

I am looking at buying a few new boards ( for a friend ) and would like to know some opionions on the Dual boards out there, Such as the Tyan Tiger / Tunder, and the new MPX solutions.

Anyone with good / Bad info, let me know. I am expecialy interesed in knowing about the 2.0 USB issue with the MPX boards....

2cpu.com forums. They have stickie threads at the top of their motherboard forum that gives the +'s and -'s of the different boards available. No better source than that.

Forget the Thunder unless you require built-in SCSI - it requires a proprietary powersupply and a case capable of taking an extended-ATX motherboard.

2.0 USB is still an issue. Some of the new MPx boards are supposedly starting to ship with 'fixed' USB 2.0, but no one has seem them yet. They all still come with a card for 2.0 USB.

yes, you can find lots of info at 2cpu.com, I would read up on the Gigabyte GA-7DPXDW board that has it all.
