Looking to buy a camcorder

I know there are some people around here who are very knowledgeable when it comes a/v products so I thought I'd ask for some advice on a camcorder. I just finished reading the reviews on the camcorders in my price range on Amazon, but most of them are posted by soccer-mom types and thus are suspect. The ones I've narrowed my selection down to from Amazon are:

Canon ZR80 MiniDV

Canon Elura 80 MiniDV

Canon ZR200 MiniDV

JVC GRDX77

Now I don't know much more about these things than the soccer moms, never having owned one, so if these aren't that great and/or there are better cameras out there I'm game. I am looking for something that performs well in low light (indoors at night with a few lamps on). I'm not really concerned much with other features unless you know of something that I should be interested in. Thanks in advance for any help you all can give me on this.

you might have more luck asking in the general hardware forum. While it is true that it falls into Video, this forum is usually for video cards. people tend to focus on those threads. Best of luck.

Yeah, I thought that but figured I'd try here first to evade the forum nazis. And thanks for that link gsellis, that site has some good info.
