OK, here's the scoop. I have been out of the tech loop for a couple years now and I am getting ready to build a pair of systems (primary use - games). I would like to keep things sub $1000 per system...lower is better. I am pretty much set on nVidia over ATI primarily for cost reasons...unless someone can convince me otherwise. I am shooting for the 2GHz neighborhood for the CPU. With that in mind, what are my best options for MB/CPU/RAM combinations? I may or may not OC at some time, so that is not a major consideration, but I would like to keep that option open. TIA for the suggestions.
