Looking sound card with dual outputs

I'm in need of a sound card with two standard outputs. I want this because I have my PC hooked up to my TV to watch movies, but it's a bit of an annoyance to have to swap out the audio connection every time so my TV is plugged in (rather than my PC speakers).

I've always used onboard audio so I really don't even know where to start here, does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Wow, somehow that hadn't even crossed my mind. I think I may even have one. I'll definitely try that out, thanks!

What mobo do you have? the news ones have dual output one that is hardwared to the back panel and there is a 2nd slot to which you can plun in other panels - generally the case would have front audio outputs jacks that can be connected to it...
In that case you can plug in the TV and speakers to different jacks and swicth the audio through the audio control center or you can output sound through both simultaneously.

I have an Asus A8N-VM CSM. I have a speaker jack in both the front and back of my case... would I be able to do this?

You shud be. There must be wires comming out of out case's front panel that can be connected to the audio socket on your mobo. there seems to be one on your mobo next to the PCI-E 1x port. look for the green socket...
