My wife and I have played EQ and DAoC and enjoyed them a lot. Does anyone have similar exp. with past MMOs and is now playing Final Fantasy XI? If so, how do they compare? I'm trying to decide if we'd enjoy it as much as we did them and i'd rather not have to spend $100 to do that 🙂
 
Isn't FFXI 14.95 a month? That's just too expensive.

the only bad thing i've heard is from the anti monthly fee people. i know alot of people who have played every american released ff but won't be getting this one just because of the monthly fee.
 
I don't have an issue with the fee as DAoC was $13. Besides, I pay $30/month for basic cable and that gets me maybe 8hrs a month of entertainment. MMOs bring me significantly more.

Anyway, thanks for the responses. Anyone actually played said MMOs and now playin FFXI?
