Looking into an apartment (see my other thread) how big would it be?

I am looking into a new apartment for myself and for my girls when i have them. The one I am looking into is 1300 square feet. Is that large or small?
It seems awfule big to me, most of them I talk to people about are in the 900sf range or a little bigger.
Anyone got any plans that would be that big?


The place includes a stove/fridge/dishwasher. There is also an washer/dryer hookup and a garage for me.


 
Wife and I just moved from a place that was 980 to a place that was 1700. We looked at a few places that were 1300 and we thought they must have been including the garage in with the square footage. 1300 with a garage in a 2 bedroom townhouse is normal around here.

How old are your daughters?
 
They are 8 and 10 (soon to be 9 and 11).
I just need to find some space for all of us when we are togethor.

This place I just drove by has a garage, the building has them underneath itself. Kind of like a townhouse, I imagine they are including that in the total.
